Development
of
speed,
agility,
and
quickness
for
all
athletes
involved
in
any
sport
at
any
level.
Speed,
agility,
and
quickness
are
important
components
for
any
athlete
to
develop.
Quick
lateral
movements
are
the
keys
when
one
must
react
immediately
or
change
directions.
To
be
sport
specific,
speed,
agility
and
quickness
training
for
any
athlete
should
be
performed
over
short
distances
and
focus
on
the
development
of
both
linear
and
lateral
speed.
Agility
refers
to
the
ability
to
move
or
change
directions
quickly
and
easily
by
working
on
agility
and
improving
balance
and
coordination
athletes
will
be
able
to
move
faster
and
change
direction
more
quickly
while
maintaining
control
and
balance.
Quickness
is
essential
for
changing
direction
and
is
considered
a
multiplanar
or
multidirectional
skill
that
combines
acceleration
explosiveness
and
reactiveness.
Got
it?!
Now
move
on
to
the
Strength
and
Agility
Phase.
