Golf
Youth
Initiative
For
young
men
and
women
aged
10-18. 
This
program
is
designed
to
provide
for
these
young
men
and
women:
-
non-traditional
recreation
options;
-
mentoring
relationships
with
professional
adults;
-
an
avenue
of
greater
exposure
to
the
world
around
them.
Program
Design
:
Youth
participants
and
their
mentors
will
arrange
to
meet
once
a
month
at
the
EBA
headquarters
for
time
spent
on
the
golf
course
or
at
a
TBA
driving
range
during
inclement
weather.
More
meetings
per
month
will
be
encouraged
between
mentor
and
mentee
but
not
required.
Relationships
should
last
a
minimum
of
one
year
and
preferably
until
the
youth
participant
enters
college
or
other
post-high
school
situation.
Other
expectations
will
be
determined
including
but
not
limited
to:
taking
child
to
workplace,
cultural
and
social
events
sponsored/arranged
by
EBA.
Program
Materials
:
Youth
participants
will
be
provided
with
clubs
and
balls.
Venue:
EBA
Headquarters,
local
driving
range
Personnel
:
Director
–
arrange
mentoring
relationships,
recruit
mentors,
mentees
Program
Cost
:
There
will
be
no
cost
to
youth
participants.
Enrollment:
Youth
participants
must
fill
out
an
application
form.
Mentor
candidates
must
also
fill
out
an
application
form,
will
be
expected
to
be
active
golfers,
although
there
is
no
minimum
skill
level,
and
must
undergo
a
criminal
background
check.
