Our
goals
and
objectives
are
to
provide
an
Educational
Training
Facility
that
meets
the
needs
of
all
athletes
in
ANY
sport.
This
will
be
accomplished
by
assembling
some
of
the
country's
best
athletic
orthopedic
surgeons,
athletic
trainers,
physical
therapists,
nutritionists,
sports
sociologists
and
support
staff.
As
a
Vietnam
Veteran
in
the
United
States
Marine
Corps
and
former
professional
athlete,
NOBODY
knows
what
it
takes
to
be
the
best
that
you
can
be
better
than
myself.
In
this
fast
paced
society
that
we
live
in
today,
only
a
select
few
become
the
best
that
they
can
be.
(Will
you
be
one
of
them?)
In
order
for
you
to
know
where
you
are
going
and
how
to
get
there
you
need
these
four
key
ingredients:
being
mental,
spiritual,
physical
and
commitment
to
what
you
are
going
to
do.
Commitment
is
what
transforms
a
promise
into
reality.
It
is
the
words
that
speak
boldly
of
your
intentions
and
the
actions
which
speak
louder
than
the
words.
It
is
making
the
time
when
there
is
none,
coming
through
time
after
time,
year
after
year.
Commitment
is
the
stuff
character
is
made
of.
the
power
to
change
the
face
of
things.
It
is
the
daily
triumph
of
integrity
over
skepticism.

Side
Note:
American
adolescents
spend
an
average
of
60%
of
their
waking
hours
attending
school,
grooming
themselves
or
working
at
jobs.
The
remaining
40%
-
at
least
five
hours
a
day
-
is
discretionary
time
when
youngsters
have
idle
time.
Young
people
tend
to
watch
television
and
participate
in
too
much
passive
activity
underutilizing
their
brains
and
their
bodies.
A
Carnegie
Corporation
study
done
in
New
York,
found
that
approximately
five
hours
a
day
was
spent
watching
television,
having
sex,
experimenting
with
drugs,
or
participating
in
gang
activities.
There
are
17,000
youth
organizations
in
this
country
--
including
4H,
Camp
Fire
Boys
and
Girls,
Boy
Scouts
and
Girl
Scouts.
However,
studies
show
that
many
youth
organizations
face
serious
budgetary
problems
and
they
are
no
longer
reaching
the
youngsters
who
most
need
help.
An
assessment
of
after
school
offerings
in
most
of
the
urban
areas
of
the
nation
would
find
that
funding
for
public
libraries,
parks,
recreation
centers
and
schools
have
experienced
dramatic
budget
cuts
over
the
last
fifteen
years.
These
cuts
often
are
translated
into
shorter
hours,
fewer
offerings
and
less
adult
supervision,
especially
in
poor
suburban
and
inner
city
neighborhoods.
Many
school
systems
have
cut
out
their
middle
school
and
after
school
extra-curricular
activities.
This
situation
could
be
characterized
as
"recreation
apartheid,"
children
separated
by
income
and
race.
EBA
extends
its
hands
and
love
out
to
all
children
regardless
of
the
neighborhood
they
live
in.
EBA
focuses
on
youth
in
need,
yet
we
open
activities
to
all
youth.
