Quentin
Hillsman
is
a
1993
Graduate
of
St.
Mary's
College
of
Maryland
where
he
received
a
Bachelor
of
Arts
Degree
in
Sociology.
While
at
St.
Mary's
College
he
was
a
four
year
Varsity
letterman
for
the
men's
basketball
team.
He
currently
holds
the
All-Team
Assist
and
steals
leaders
records
at
St.
Mary's
College.
He
broke
the
single
season
assist
and
single
game
assist
record
at
St.
Mary's
College
and
was
ranked
top
twenty
in
the
country
for
assist
and
ranked
in
the
top
five
in
State
Division
II
and
III
College
in
assists
and
steals.
during
a
stint
at
St.
Mary's.
He
was
team
captain,
All
Conference
Player,
and
a
member
of
the
first
ever
CAC
Conference
Champions
in
St.
Mary's
history.
Coach
Hillsman
also
competed
internationally.
Currently,
he
is
pursuing
a
Masters
of
Sports
Science
in
Sport
Management
from
the
United
States
Academy
in
Daphne,
Alabama.
Quentin
Hillsman
is
in
his
first
year
as
Head
Coach
of
the
Newport
Girls'
Varsity
Basketball
team.
Last
year,
Coach
Hillsman
was
the
assistant
coach
for
the
boy's
varsity
team
at
Newport
which
finished
the
year
with
a
record
of
30
-
6.
