Beyond the Court
Summer Camp

June 17–21

Beyond the Court is more than a summer camp — it is a leadership experience for 5th and 6th graders designed to help students grow in identity, confidence, character, faith, and purpose. Through sports, team-building, mentorship, and meaningful teaching, campers will be challenged to become leaders on the court and beyond it.

After registering, families will receive additional camp communication and next-step details.

Why Beyond the Court?

Beyond the Court was created because we believe summer should be more than filling time — it should be a season of growth. This camp is designed for students at a very important stage of life, when identity is forming, influence is increasing, and leadership habits are beginning to take shape.

Our goal is to help campers reject false labels, embrace their identity in Christ, discover purpose, and understand that leadership is not something they have to wait for later in life. It starts now — at home, at school, on teams, and in their communities.

This Year’s Theme

RESET
Who am I really?
Campers will be challenged to let go of limiting labels and begin seeing themselves through truth, value, and purpose.
RENEW
How should I think and live?
Through teaching and reflection, students will learn how character, mindset, and faith shape everyday choices.
REFUEL
What keeps me going?
Campers will be spiritually, mentally, and relationally encouraged so they can keep growing with strength and endurance.
READY
How can I lead now?
Campers will leave understanding that leadership begins now — through influence, responsibility, and action.

What Campers Will Learn

Identity
Campers will learn that they do not have to be defined by other people’s labels or their past mistakes.
Purpose
Students will be encouraged to see that their lives matter and that they were created for more than simply going through the motions.
Influence
Campers will understand that their words, choices, and attitudes already influence people around them.
Leadership
Students will leave knowing leadership is not about age or title — it is about responsibility, example, and service.

Sports as a Leadership Lab

Beyond the Court uses not only the game of basketball as a medium to teach leadership principles, but sports in general. We believe the lessons learned through movement, teamwork, discipline, competition, communication, and encouragement can help shape how students lead in every area of life.

Alongside basketball, campers will also engage in soccer, volleyball, football, and this year we have included the sport of cheerleading as part of the camp experience. This multi-sport approach helps campers discover new strengths, build confidence, develop teamwork, and understand that leadership shows up in many different spaces.
